With a late pass at Orange display Speedway (California), defending series champion Chris Eggleston took his first NASCAR k&N professional collection West victory of the season in the dawn Ford one hundred fifty on Saturday evening.
Eggleston was a late force in the race, as the No. 9 Ford of pole sitter Ryan Partridge dominated for a majority of the experience. Partridge led for a hundred and forty laps, spinning as he attempted to steer clear of a lap-down car and handing the No. 50 Toyota of Eggleston the lead with seven laps to head. A late eco-friendly-white-checkered finish bunched the box back up after Eggleston took the lead and extended the race to 151 laps, but the driver managed to hang off Jefferson Pitts Racing teammates Gracin Raz and Noah Gragson for the victory. Todd Gilliland and Julia Landauer rounded out the true five, and three of the correct-five finishers -- Gragson, Gilliland and Landauer -- belong to the latest type of the NASCAR next program.
Partridge ended up in the sixth position after his spin, and he sits in 2d position within the series standings with 174 aspects. Gilliland leads with 178 elements, and Eggleston holds third with 169 points.
